  • Food log data: Meals, photos of food, and nutrition information you log within the App.
  • Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and screens visited.
  • Device information: Device type and operating system, used for technical support and app performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and personalise the MacroSnap experience, including calculating your nutrition targets and tracking your progress.
  • Sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
  • Improve the App and fix technical issues.
  • Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Camera and Photo Access

MacroSnap requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to allow you to photograph food for nutrition analysis. Photos are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to identify food items and estimate nutritional content. We do not store your photos on our servers beyond what is necessary to provide this feature.

7. Children's Privacy

MacroSnap is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at alex.digital200@gmail.com and we will delete it.

You have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
